From Linda Sowerby . . . The Smiling Blue Skies Cancer fundraiser for 2023 is in the books!
Donors were so generous this year and to all who purchased raffle tickets, I can’t thank you enough.
Drumroll, please!! I’m beyond thrilled that we have surpassed last year’s total and an amazing $7150 was raised, with all proceeds going to the Smiling Blue Skies Cancer Fund.
Smiling Blue Skies is not about one dog or one person or one event, but is about ALL of us, and I thank everyone who has shared personal stories about their own cancer journeys or that of their companions.
With events like this, Smiling Blue Skies can continue to support research focusing on finding even more novel and creative solutions for cancer treatment, and step by step, continue to take a bite out of cancer on behalf of all of us.
Again this year, I remember my companions whom I’ve been able to spend quality time with following a cancer diagnosis.
