Note Cards

These items are made of pewter. Modern pewter is a non-toxic alloy of tin, combined with small amounts of copper and antimony. To preserve its beauty, you simply wash your pewter in warm soapy water, and then dry it immediately, with a soft cloth. Pewter will give you endless years of pleasure.

The starter kit, for Bowwowlicious Carob Cinnamon Crunch Gourmet Dog Biscuit Mix, pictured here, in a frosted snap-tote container, is comprised of one package of dry mix to make 25 biscuits, a dog biscuit shaped cutter and a limited edition Golden Angel post card, that is UV protected, so its beautiful colours will never fade.
Ingredients for these gourmet biscuits include, oat flour, organic oats, unsweetened coconut, sunflower seeds, flaxseeds, carob powder, cinnamon, and sunflower oil.
As you can see, these healthy treats contain no corn, soy, wheat, yeast, sugar, salt, or artificial ingredients, and the use of cinnamon, carob, and coconut also have great healing value.
Both carob and cinnamon add great flavor, but did you know that they also soothe the gastrointestinal tract? Carob is the fruit of the carob tree, also known as the locust tree and St. John's tree. Carob is rich in natural sugars and contains all the principal minerals and vitamins. Carob has a very interesting history. In ancient Egypt, carob pods were combined with porridge, honey, and wax, as a remedy for diarrhea. They also featured carob in recipes for expelling worms, and treating poor eyesight and eye infections. In the 1st century A.D., the Greek physician, Dioscorides, wrote that carob acted to relieve stomach pain and settle digestion.
Cinnamon is used in many ways. In the West, the inner bark is used primarily for digestive upsets, indigestion, and diarrhea; while in China, cinnamon is considered to be a good energizing herb, especially for weak kidney conditions, and even asthma. You can also make a compress, using a diluted cinnamon tincture, to relieve arthritic and rheumatic pain.
Many parts of the coconut palm, from the roots, to the bark, are used for medicinal purposes. Coconut has been used for hundreds of years in the treatment of dysentery and other intestinal problems because of its astringent qualities.
