Meet our top
fund raiser!!! Nicole raised nearly
$1,000, all on her own, to honour her very
special dog, "Lucky", a nine year old
Bichon Frise. Nicole and "Lucky" have been
spending A LOT of time at the University
of Guelph's Veterinary Teaching Hospital,
where "Lucky" is being treated for fibrosarcoma.
He is certainly living up to his name.
Even though he now sports three legs, after
an amputation in April, he still managed to pass
most of the 4 legged dogs, at this year's walk!
Nicole and "Lucky" love all the vets and
surgeons and support staff at OVC. "Lucky"
is currently receiving chemotherapy.
Nicole graduated from Sheridan College,
with a certificate in Animal Care. She
aspires to become a veterinary technician,
and we know that her personal dream will
come true.
